Knock, Knock… Friday Bible Blessings is at Your Door. Today’s special delivery verse is from Hebrew 12:1-2; “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
As followers of Christ, we will be able to run further and faster if we don’t have sin clinging to us and weighing us down. If you want your relationship with God to go to the next level then it starts with you stripping down from sin.
If you want to pick up the pace in your pursuit of Jesus, then start by stripping off any form of sin, because that is weighing you down. While this is true physically, it is also true spiritually. Sin will cling to us and weigh us down so that we aren’t able to pursue Jesus like we could if we weren’t carrying sinful habits or bad attitudes.
Sin slows you down, so strip it off! Jesus has too much in store for your life for you to be weighed down. Start running the race with endurance and keep your eyes on Jesus He is calling you forward.

Knock, Knock, It’s Me! Thursday Bible Blessings at Your Door. Today’s special delivery verse is from Matthew 16:13-19; When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Knock, Knock, It’s Me! Wednesday Bible Blessings at Your Door. Today’s special delivery verse is from John 20:1-10; Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. Then they went home.
