The JOY of Jesus!

Joy has nothing to do with our circumstances, but joy sure does have to do with our character. Dear Friends, no matter what anyone says we absolutely can have “JOY” in the middle of our circumstances. Remember “JOY” lays deeply within us.

Overflowing in

James 1:2-4 says; My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

The word “JOY” appears in the King James Version Old Testament (102) and the New Testament (63) times. That’s a lot of JOY in itself (just saying).

As Believers we should know that our faith will be tested and our patience will be tried. But the JOY of the LORD is our strength and (the JOY of Jesus should be overflowing in our lives). So shout, give God the highest praise and glory…HALLELUJAH!  God Blesses You 🙂

Should We Be Full of Fear?

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7.

The answer of course is NO! What does fear mean:

and the definition of “fear” in the dictionary is;
1 a : an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger.

(1) : an instance of this emotion (2) : a state marked by this emotion.

: anxious concern : solicitude.
: profound reverence and awe especially toward God.
: reason for alarm : danger.

Let’s Pray ↵
Father God we thank You because as Your Word so truthfully says, “You have not given us a spirit of fear…”. We are in awe of only You God. Speak to our hearts and the hearts of our loved ones so that we may not fear our circumstances nor our adversary (the devil) and his evil ways. Thank You for keeping us in our right mind in the power and love of Christ. Keep our family and friends safe and draw them near. Again we thank You and we are so gratefully blessed and totally amazed by You as we humble ourselves to You Father in obedience, honor and prayer. In Jesus priceless name. Amen.

How High is Your H.O.P.E?

HOPE is eternal! HOPE is a heavenly inheritance! HOPE is in Christ! Now that’s high HOPE, positive and expecting God to keep ALL of His promises to you and to me no matter what. HOPE lives!

The bible says in 1 Peter 1:3-7,
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Live with high HOPE in His Abundant Blessings!

Are You A People Pleaser?

Quit Trying to Please Everybody!

“It is dangerous to be concerned with what others think of you.” (Proverbs 29:25a GNT)

We waste a lot of time and energy trying to figure out what other people want us to be and then trying to become like that, rather than just being what God made us to be.
That’s dangerous, because when you’re worried about what other people think all the time, you cave in to criticism. You don’t always do the right thing. You do what everybody wants you to do. And you probably miss God’s best for your life because you can’t stop and think about what God wants you to do.
  • Fact #1: You cannot please everybody. Even God can’t please everybody. One person prays for it to rain; another prays for it to be sunny. Who is God going to answer? Only a fool would try to do what even God can’t do.
  • Fact #2: It’s not necessary to please everybody. There is a myth that says you must be loved and approved by everybody in order to be happy. That’s just not true. You don’t have to please everybody in order to be happy in life.
  • Fact #3: Rejection will not ruin your life. It hurts, sure. It’s not fun. It’s uncomfortable. But rejection will not ruin your life unless you let it.

Quit trying to please everybody. Remember that nobody can make you feel inferior unless you give him or her permission to. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 NIV) If God likes you, who cares that everybody doesn’t approve of everything you do?

Nothing you ever do will make God love you less. Nothing you ever do will make God love you more. He loves you completely right now, just the way you are. by Rick Warren

His Marriage Manual

Well we know that marriage is very important to our Christian lives. God is for marriage and has left us instructions in the bible. There are so many verses that relate to what God says about marriage. We’d like to share just a few with you;

  • Genesis 2:18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

  • Genesis 2:21-24 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
  • Mark 10:6-9   But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

  • Ephesians 5:23-32 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
God has told us that when we join together we just became One Flesh. That is pretty deep all by itself!

Dear friends we must seek God and stay prayerful about our marriages. It can surely tend to be difficult from time to time! And that’s not to say that divorce doesn’t occur due to misunderstandings and other shortcomings but, this is why we really need to let God be the center of our commitment we made one to another in the presence of God.

Pray about your marriage daily and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you both through your relationship and intimacy. Also read 1 Corinthians 13… Seek God For All Your Marital Answers!
