1736. Pray for Married Monday

Please join us in prayer as we pray “10 Ways to Love” in our marriage: May the Husband & the Wife be obedient and humble themselves in these ten ways:

Listen without interrupting: Proverbs 18:13  To answer before listening— that is folly and shame.
Speak without accusing: James 1:19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

Give without sparing: Proverbs 21:26 All day long he craves for more, but the righteous give without sparing.

Pray without ceasing: Colossians 1:9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

Answer without arguing: Proverbs 17:1 Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.

Share without pretending: Ephesians 4:15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

Enjoy without complaining: Philippians 2:14 Do everything without complaining and arguing.

Trust without wavering: Corinthians 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Forgive without punishing: Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Promise without forgetting: Proverbs 13:12  Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

Father God, may our marriage withstand the test of time. We pray You will richly bless our request that we may love each other more today than yesterday in Jesus’ precious name we give You all the glory and honor. Amen.
